As we grow up and meet new people we find out that their are various types of levels of "friends" that we all have. How I classify my friends is by how well I know them and how well they know me. We encounter them every day whether it's at school, in gym class, or even at home when hanging out with them. Most of us don't normally take the time to actually sit down and think of how we would group our friends. First there are the friends that you only talk to when you see them, they are normally called aquaintences. Next would be my friends that I talk to all the time, and randomly hang out with outside of school. Last but not least would be my best friends, who are my true friends that I can tell anything and everything to.
The first type would be simply your aquintances. You basically only talk to them when you randomly run into them at school or maybe even at a store. You don't go out of your way to talk to them, and you basically really only know them by first name basis. There not the ones that you would go out of your way to ask to go to the movies with. You normally wouldn't miss them if you were to move or even if they were to be gone for a month or so on a vacation. Most of the time these people usually would cause aggravation to you. Since you don't talk to them much, when you do come across to them you feel that you have to be nice to them just so shit don't get started. This may be also aggarvating because when your best friends are getting on your nerves you usally tell them to shut up but with these type of people you don't want to say anything to make you sound like a bitch. This is why I just call these people my "aquaintences."

I think that I could of added more detail after reading my essay about why cheering is actually harder than football. In the first paragraph I should of listed things that has to do with cheering, like the characteristics such as determination, strength, feelings of success or feelings of not succeeding.
In my paragraphs I should of added more details in how determination plays in the role of cheerleading. I could have added more real live situations in it. I liked how I asked someone their definition of a cheerleader and interacted it with the whole stero-type things.
In my ending paragraphs. I should of deffinitely added more detail into my paragraphs.
In my ending paragraph I should of made it more of and ending concluding paragraph. I think for the most part I made my points clear about cheerleading.

Cause Essay
Cool crisp air, getting colds, shivering under layers of clothes is what cheerleading is all about. Jumping, dancing, yelling, screaming, supporting the boys on friday nights, its one of the best feelings in the world, when your in front of hundreds of fans. Cheerleaders arn't known as being athletic because they think that everything that we do is whimpy, or pathetic. There is more to cheerleading then most people realize. Cheerleading is fulfilled with alot of hardwork and determination. Alot of people look at cheerleaders and automatically sterotype us. They think of us as snobby, stuck up little bitches. News Flash! We're not all like that. We are giggly yes, but we are hardworkers and if you ask alot of people their moto to cheering would be...."Cheering...It's harder than football!"
Determination is one of the biggest things that plays in the role as a cheerleader. If your not determined that a stunt is going to go, or the dance is going to look sloppy, then it will. Everyone that is on a squad needs to make sure that they all think alike. What do I mean by this? Well, everyone needs to think when there is a skinny little scronnie girl up in the air being supported by your strength everyone needs to say "Alright, we are all the only things supporting this girl. Everything will work and nobody will hit the floor." When we all get ready to enter the field after the second quarter buzzer goes off, we all need to think "this is going to go, no one will mess up, and everyone will love it." Being determined that everything will work, and look good isn't the easiest thing to always do, but you need to inorder to have a good positive outcome. Determination in cheerleading is basically everything. It's the frosting on a cake.
Spirit is another main thing in cheering. If we have alot of spirit than all the people in the crowd thinks that we are being snobby, or preppy or just a stero-type cheerleader. Honestly, our spirit during the games helps get football players motivated, and feel like they have support and they get their heads into the game and play. Not only do we give spirit to the football players but we give spirit to the school. We have events to get all the fall sports pumped up and help them get their heads into the game. Spirit is a cheerleaders main job to spread. We all try our hardest to show everyone how to get psyched up for a game and not worry about acting like idiots.
Sterotyping is something that brings us cheerleaders down alot. I asked someone what they thought about cheerleading and this is what he/she told me. " I belive a cheerleader that is very into cheering is most likely say is blonde, skinny, preppy, and very annoying. yea it's good to be happy. But when they are normally happy, it makes them look very stupid. they try and act smart but doesn't always work. They are so into cheering they usually don't have any other interests. Like academics." Things like this is what makes us girls not want to get out in front of people and do what we need to do. I think it's kind of bullcrap that us cheerleaders get no respect from anyone. We have had football players actually come to our practice's and do the some of the stunts that we do and they have actually admited to us that they think that cheering is harder than football. I think that if everyone would actually get to know some girls that are cheerleaders than the "model" of a cheerleader would change.
Cheerleading isn't a dumb sport that people think is whimpy or ridicously stupid. Us cheerleaders are nice, caring, athletes that take pride in everything that they do. Cheering is a sport, a very hard sport that some of these things play a role in. I think that everyone should give cheerleaders a chance and not stero-type them as skinny, preppy, blonde bitches.

Reaction:
I feel that everything that was written about the topic "love" in this essay is so true. It starts off the same way everytime. You pay extra attention for the one you seek. Both hang out for a while, get to know each other really good, experience things with eachother, cry together, have fun together but most of the time in the end it all ends in a big ole heart break. There are so many characteristics that play in the role of "love". I agree that the three major roles of fear, dishonesty, and selfishness are major characteristics. Everyone has all of this things running through their minds while you are in a relationship.
Dishonesty is like a virus that spreads. Most of the time when we tell little white lies to the one we are with the get bigger and bigger. Not being honest with the ones that we are with will make all the feeling dissapear. When I was with my ex-boyfriend there was someone else that I had interest in towards the end. I wanted to tell him the truth that I I lost interest in him for so many reasons, but i was dishonest to him about everything and we ended up not being friends at all. Now when I have a problem I talk to the one I am with now, because I don't want the spark to our fire to die.
Fear always gets in the way of peoples feelings. I have been cheated on before and now I have a hard time to trust people, even though there is no reason not to trust them. I always fear that I am going to loose Michael (my boyfriend). It doesn't turn my feelings around for him because I know that what I share with him is true, but sometimes it does put me in a bad mood; which also puts him in a bad mood. It seems that sometimes when people fear that their partner is going to maybe cheat on them than it ruins their relationship. Fear seems to end alot of people's relationships.
Selfishness would probley be the most occuring thing that happens in relationships. No one likes to share their partner with anyone else. Even when they are talking to their friends we all tend to get alittle selfish and get all angry. Even though we don't mean to it seems to happen, we can't control it no matter how hard we try because it's somethign that happens to every single person on this planet. Also if we don't give the correct attention to our partner than they may feel that all the attention is going on someone else, when in all actuality it really isn't. They are just being too selfish to realize that it's not all about them!
I agree with everything in that essay explains exactly how things in a relationship go.

Person
*Michael R. Curran*
As we grow up we meet special people who either stay in our lives forever or slowly grow away from you. People who we meet usually either have a good influence on you or either a negative influence on you. I have a special person who I have known for about seven years, I never really knew how special he actually was to me. I was never close to him til the last year, when him and I got together. Michael R. Curran is one of the best things that has ever happened to me, and honestly I would be lost without him.
Michael is one of those people that everyone knows, and a person that everyone should know. Michael is a kind caring person who always puts other people before him. He doesn't care what or where he is, if someone needs help; he always trys to be there for his friends, family and even people that arn't on the top of his list. Ever since I can remember his main priority has been his family. He knows how to treat his family with respect. He isn't one of them type of boys who are ignerent and rude to his parents. He listens to them, and take's advantage of the time that he has with his family. His friends always comes next. He always has a shoulder to cry on when one needs one. He knows exactly what to say to make everything dissapear. He never neglects his friends, he makes sure that he spends time with them and he makes sure that he makes memories with them, memories that he would never forget when he is eighty years old. He is an all around amazing person, and I would be lost without him.
In the last year Michael has helped me come so far in my life. He has taught me to care about who I am and how I appear to be towards other people. I use to not care about school, I thought school was pretty much stupid. I got into alot of negative things for my body, and he snapped me out of what I was doing and helped me to be the person who I am today. Michael helps calms all my feelings and makes all my fears and worries dissapear. I honestly feel that I would be incomplete without him in my life. No, I am not just saying that because he is my boyfriend. This boy is more that that. He is family, my best friend, my hero and so much more.
Not only is he respectful but he is helpful. He is always there to help me when I'm having problems with either stupid school drama, parent crap or just having a horrible day. He is always here to comfort me and make everything okay again. I use to hold things in and never talk to anyone about my feelings. I'd bottle everything up and pretend that I was okay. Michael has taught me how to talk to him and let him know what I am thinking, feeling and why I feel that way. He has really helped me come along way in my life. He has helped me with school work so that I can persude in the career that I would like to do in the future.
Michael is an all around amazing person, and I would be absolutly lost without him. Anyone who doesn't know who he is don't know what they are missing out on. :]

Person
Growing up we have people who come in and out of our lives, but most people stay in our hearts forever. A year or so ago someone very special entered my life and had a huge impact on my life. He influenced me to change my life around and stay to care about my life, school work, family and friends. This boy helped me get back on track in my life and stop doing the stupid things that I use to do. Without this boy I would be lost, and wouldn't be where I am today. Michael Curran is more than just my hero or my boyfriend. He is my best friend. He is probley the most wonderful caring person that anyone would ever meet.
Michael isn't the type who just cares about himself. He cares about everyone around him, even if you are his "enemy". He will litterally stop what he is doing and talk to you and help you through problems. I can remember when I was with my ex-boyfriend he use to talk to me all night long until I would stop crying. He use to tell me "Hun, it's okay. He's a asshole, you don't deserve someone like that." After a couple of months I finally started to listen to him and ended things with my ex-boyfriend. Michael and I talked for a while and after a while we ended up dating. This boy has taught me so many awesome things about life, and he has taught me that "We're not going to live forever, so do what you want, and live your life to the fullest, and don't care what others think about you because I think your amazing and that's all that matters." Without this boy in my life I really don't think that I would have the beliefs that I do today. Before I got with him I thought that love was just a stupid word that no one ment. I was deffintely wrong tho. He has shown me what love is, and how a girl is supose to be treated. I really wish that all people would act the way he does. He shows everyone so much respect towards everyone, especially women. Michael is seriosuly my hero, and he will always have a special place in my heart because of all the wonderful things he has done for me. Anyone who knows this boy is seriously lucky to have him in their lives as friend. This is one person that I will hold onto forever.

Things
As I sit and look in my room at all the things I have, it makes me remember what actually something actually ment to me when I was little. I have to laugh because things that ment so much to me are dumb little things like a birthday card, a old pair of shoes or even a dumb little jacket that I use to look so "cute" in. None of that today means anything to me, except one thing that I recieved when I was about two years old, and maybe even younger; my first teddy bear. My grammie won me this teddy bear out of one of those machines that you can play that have stuffed animals in it.
I remember exactly what it use to look like. It was a perfect little stuffed bear, it had green and white stripes on the pants, a brown stuffed football on the left arm, and cute little black nose. In my eyes it was the cutest little thing in the world. It was my protection, my angel. As I grew up and got older, so did my teddy bear. It started to loose stuffing, holes grew in it, the football got ripped off, my dog ate the nose, and worst of all it turned into a old ragged thing that to this day I still love.
This teddy bear represents so many things and there will never be a day that it get thrown away. This bear represents love from my grammie. I remember when I use to live with her while my parents were trying to find a house to buy. One day they found one and we all moved out of my grammies house into a blue house by the railroad tracks. My Mom, Dad, and sister went to stay in the house for their first time, but I wanted to spend one more night with my grammie. The next morning when she was bringin me to my new house, I can remember having tears run down my face. I was heartbroken that I had to leave my grammmie and move into a new house, but I can remember exactly what she told me. She pulled the car over and said this to me "Katie- I'm always there with you no matter what. When your sad at night hug your bear and it will be me giving you a hug, give your bear a good night kiss when you miss me and it will be me giving you one back, when you need someone to talk to and I aint home, talk to your bear, it will help calm you. No matter where you are, or where I am, we will always be together. So need to cry, whipe your eyes and smile because I am always going to be here with you until the day that I die." From that night on I did everything that she told me to do when I sad. It slept with me every single night, and til this day it still does.
This bear ment more to me than just a little thing that I would sleep with every night so I wouldn't have nightmares. It was the first thing that my grammie ever got me out of a toy machine, and it happened to be my favorite stuffed animal. It's in ruff shape today with it's nose missing and it's leg all mangled and a rip in it's belly but it represents love, securtiy, and all those great feelings that you share with your grammie when your younger.

Unique:
I am cheerleader, but I'm not the average sterotyped cheerleader. I could go to school in sweat pants no make-up on and be perfectly fine with myself. I drive a half decent vehicle but it's not the nicest thing out there. I enjoy outdoor sports like hunting, fishing, snowsledding, fourwheeling, and most of all getting muddy. I have shot three deers in the last three years, and it is amazing. I shoot a 243, and I could probably out shoot alot of "grown men". I live in Maine but I should live in the country somewheres, since alot of us up here are hicks. Music is life. My friends and family mean the world to me and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I love to read, and relax with friends and family. I hate cooking (which I'm really bad at), sewing isn't my thing, nor is all that other girly stuff. I am a huge dog fan, and I love my jack russell who's name is Riley. When I graduate highschool I plan on going on for Medical Assisting. I have alot of fears and older people in nursing homes are one of them. I have alot of favorite colors but, my all time favorite color is black and pink. I can debate very well when I want to, and I am a very opinionated person. I could really care less what people think of me, because I am me, and no one can ever change that.

Inventory&Inventory:
Bedroom Tv Stand:
-normal stand
-cubby underneath
-dvds and movies fill the underneath
-tv on top of the stand
-red twirling picture frame on top of the tv
-a little dusty
This person is a neat freak, but not to neat. She has everything organized just how she likes it including all dvd's and tapes are arranged alphabetically and by size. She has the tv cornered into the cornor just right, so it's perfectly centered right in the center of the stand. The bright red picture frame that has fake diamonds that spells out the word "love" twirls around randomly, and it shows two pictures of her and her boyfriend. A light coat of dust covers the tv screen, but not to much to not be able to see the screen. The top of the tv has a light cover of dust ontop of it also, and you can see where everything has once sat. She isn't the neatest girl on the planet, but she still has time to learn more about house work before she sets out into the real world on her own, with no one there to cater to her.

Worst Teacher!
Honestly, Last year was the first time that I have came across the worst teacher in the school district. He was really smart, but he was too smart to teach the class. He was selfish, and only cared about getting the material done and giving us a test the next day. Not only was he selfish but he was also witted.
When the class was to ask brief questions that wouldn't apply looking up, he would rudly look us in the eye and tell us "Look in the book, it's easy" or "Didn't you just hear me explain that?" Students would complain about confusion and not understanding the material, but he would just blow us off and not even try to help any of the students. He would dilbertly make us sound like liers, such as when the principle of the school and parents would confront him of this problem, due to us students failing his class. Students would go see him after school for extra help he would allow us to retake the quizes but in the long run it made it even worst because he always took the lower grade. Not only that, but when you made plans to get extra help, most of the time he wouldn't stick to his word and leave school for the night. We all understand that things come up and we have to do something, but it would of been nice to know ahead of time that he wasn't going to show up.
Our teacher was very inconsistent of putting grades in the grade book until the last minute. Work would be lost due to his unorganization skills. Students who participate in sports would be put on academic probation due to grades not being entered, or lost work. Everything that he lost would always be the students fault. It seemed to be that nothing was ever his fault and his goal was to see his students fail. As the year progressed students started dropping his class, which added stress to the ones who did. Us students that dropped his class had to still make up the credit on an online cours. It was stressful for some, and some didn't even get to graduate with their class due to his horrible teaching skills. He was one of the worst teachers I have ever had.

My hands are small, with long stick like fingers. My nails are white with bright colors on them with semi long nails. The colors represent me, and tell who I am. The bright colors say that I am energectic, active, and very outgoing. I have rings on them that represent many different things such as love. My hands reach out for people who need love, and need someone to show them that someone really cares about them. I have a couple of scars that tell what I do. I have scratches from catching girls in the air during cheerleading practice. I have a scar right above my knuckle on my pointer finger on my right hand. I recieved that while working at my part time job that I had at McDonalds. My hands have little nibble marks on them from my jack russell that is of the age of 5 months old, and she just loves to play. My hands arn't the best looking things in the world, but they are loving and are there to reach out for anyone whom needs a hand to wipe away tears, or a pat on the back. My hands are adventerous, they pull a trigger on a gun while hunting for deer. My hands are small, with long stick fingers, but they serve the purpose that I need.
